This building is spread over seven floors with a total area of about 300 square meters . A central patio leads to a stunning view of the Old City .

The purpose of the renovation was to provide the property owners with a dual functionality for using the house: a family meeting place during the holidays with the possibility to accommodate a large number of family members of different ages, and a living and working for the owners during the rest of the year .

Due to the historic nature of the building, there are many limitations regarding the ability to make changes. The original structure is long and narrow. In order to create the necessary space, the building consists of seven different levels . There was a significant challenge in bringing natural light to all of the different levels.

The design concept was to introduce elements and substances that are found in the neighborhoods of Jerusalem into the building , while maintaining a clean and modern design.

The main materials used included stone of varying sizes and colors , exposed oak wood and metal . The clean design provided a platform for elements that exist in the original structure that we exposed while renovating such as : stone arches and domes.

My work included full support for the project from initial planning through the creation of a set of work programs , the choice of finishing materials, accompaniment during project execution and choosing furniture and art throughout the house.
